Heartland Seminary

Do you have undergraduate training and desire additional preparation to sharpen your ministry skills?

Please consider Heartland Baptist Seminary.

Heartland offers an advanced practical ministry program designed to further the education and training of men called to serve the Lord in church leadership roles.

Heartland offers an advanced 42-hour practical ministry program designed to further the education and training of men called to serve the Lord in church leadership roles.

To accomplish this, students complete a total of fourteen courses divided into three major categories: Biblical Studies courses, Church Ministries courses, and Ministry Research courses. Every course is designed to sharpen the student through a practical ministry emphasis and graduate-level coursework.

The courses that make up the program provide students with advanced instruction in key ministry skills such as hermeneutics, homiletics, biblical counseling, the study of biblical languages, theological study, and philosophy of ministry. After completing their first semester, students will select a ministry emphasis and participate in an internship directly related to that ministry emphasis. In the final year of the program, students will learn the principles of conducting graduate-level research and will use these principles to complete a practical ministry project.

Students in the seminary program also benefit from the low student-to-teacher ratio and the opportunities for focused, personal investment from the seminary faculty.
