About Heartland’s Academics
Nothing is more exciting than knowing that God is working in your life and that you are submitting to His leadership. If God is directing you to serve him as a pastor, assistant pastor, or youth pastor, we want to do our best to prepare you for a life of service to our Lord. If you aren’t sure exactly what God wants you to do, that is okay, too; we will help you to select a major and to begin your training so you are ready to serve God wherever He leads you.
Each of the men who teach in the Bible department are not only qualified academically, but they also have decades of practical experience pastoring and ministering in churches around the country. They will not just help you to get a good education; they will be able to give wisdom and guidance outside the classroom as you continue to develop and prepare.
While you are here at Heartland Baptist Bible College, the staff and faculty will seek to instill in you a commitment to the Word of God, a passion for biblical preaching, a love for the local church, a heart for service, and—above all—a desire to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading in your life.
Through serving in ministry at Southwest Baptist Church, you will be given the opportunity to put what you are learning into daily practice.
