Residence Hall Life
Our desire is to provide a clean, safe and Christian atmosphere in the residence halls for our residents. For more information on the residence halls and to see photos click here.
Each dorm has a Resident Advisor and several assistants to aid students with their needs, concerns and questions. The Resident Advisors are selected by the Deans and are trained to handle many situations that may arise in the residence halls.
Each year we strive to provide a variety of student activities which include an Oklahoma City Redhawks baseball game; Frontier City amusement park; Midnight Bowling; the Men’s Advance in Stillwater, OK; intramural sports and many other activities. Some pictures of student activities are in the Student Life Photo Gallery.
Guidelines are in place to help students maintain the highest standard of Christian conduct on all occasions. Overnight/curfew passes and dating requests are reviewed by the Dean and processed according to the handbook guidelines.
Handbook policies and procedures are developed through the Dean of Students’ Office. If you have any questions about the handbook or need clarification, please feel free to contact the Dean of Students’ Office at

Difficult situations arise in everyone’s life. When a student has a difficult situation, there may be a need to seek wise counsel. While all faculty and staff are accessible and willing to meet personal needs, the Dean of Students’ Office is available specifically to assist with those needs as well as personal spiritual development.
We do not have on-site medical care. We do have a nurse who volunteers to give advice and recommendations to students who are sick or have other health concerns. Sick Call is held each weekday from 10 - 11 am. Any student who would like to see the nurse may do so during this time. There are also doctors and clinics in the area that are available to provide medical care to the students. A list of these may be obtained from the Dean of Students’ Office. Students are strongly recommended to have medical insurance coverage.
The safety of our students and campus is of vital importance to Heartland. Security guards are in place 24/7. In addition, monitoring devices, including security alarms and cameras, are also strategically located on campus.
