1. All officers shall be elected for a term of 2 years. All election of officers will take place at the homecoming week during the fall term of HBBC. New officers will take office at the beginning of the calendar year following the election. Only voting members will be able to nominate and vote on officers.
2. All those nominated for office must agree with the doctrinal statement of HBBC.
3. Nominations shall be made from the board of current officers and the HBBC executive vice president. Voting members may submit nominations to the board no later than the first day of HBBC graduation week. The board must consider all nominations received. It will be their duty to secure any nominee's willingness to serve and agreement with the doctrinal statement of HBBC.
4. Officers will include (and not be limited to) the following:
A. President: He will lead all committees, functions and events of the Alumni Association.It will be his job to lead the Alumni Association to fulfill its purpose and goals.
B.First Vice-president: He will assist the president in his functions and serve on the board of officers. If the president is unable to perform his duties, the first vice president will assume his office until the next scheduled election.
C.Second Vice-president: He will assist the president in his functions and serve on the board of officers.
D.Secretary: The secretary will keep minutes of business meetings and board meetings and serve on the board of officers.
E.Treasurer: The treasurer will coordinate as a liaison between the Alumni Association and the College Business Office to account for the monies of the Alumni Association. He will serve on the board of officers.
F.The HBBC Executive Vice-president will be a continuing member of the board of officers.
5. Elections will be held during the HBBC Alumni Association Homecoming week in the fall of each school year. Official ballots must be signed and turned in no later than the Thursday of Alumni week.
